Dr. Yates has been actively engaged in private practice in central Pennsylvania for over 35 years. The primary focus of his practice is aesthetic surgery. As a board certified surgeon, Dr. Yates has been the first to bring many concepts relative to the field to the central Pennsylvania medical community. He was the first to bring liposuction to this area, as well as laser resurfacing to rejuvenate photoaged skin. Along with his wife Debra Yates, they were the first to integrate an esthetician into a plastic surgery practice to provide patients with on site skin care. With so many firsts to his credit, Dr. Yates brings an immense amount of experience to his patients.

Dr. Yates, a graduate of Cornell University, Ithaca, New York, attended the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Baltimore, Maryland, he served his internship at the Cleveland Clinic Hospital, Cleveland, Ohio along with a general surgical residency. An additional general surgical residency was served at the University of Pittsburgh where he was appointed Chief Resident. A Plastic surgery residency was fulfilled at the Rhode Island Hospital, and Brown University, Providence, Rhode Island where Dr. Yates also served as Chief Resident.

Today, Dr. Yates is Chief of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill, Pennsylvania and Medical Director of Grandview Surgery and Laser Center of Camp Hill, Vista Surgery Center, The Skin Rejuvenation & Laser Center of Camp Hill and Plastic Surgery Center, Ltd
