The Laser Hair Removal Process
After an anesthetic cream has been applied to the treatment area, the laser hair removal technician adjusts the laser to suit the patient's needs. Controlled bursts of laser light are then used to disable the targeted hair follicles.

While some redness and swelling may occur in the treatment site, these side effects typically disappear within 24 hours. Ice as well as soothing gels or lotions containing aloe may be used to minimize discomfort.
