Laser Hair Removal
Permanently reduce and remove unwanted hair – for cosmetic reasons or to eliminate the frustration of ingrown hairs. The laser destroys the hair follicles and prevents regrowth. Multiple treatments in a series are usually necessary. Six sessions are recommended for maximum benefits. The procedure is virtually painless with the latest technology.
Hair laser works by producing highly focused, intense beams of light absorbed by dark pigments in the hair follicles beneath the skin’s surface. This light is converted to heat, destroying the follicles and preventing hair growth.
Treatments do not require anesthesia as most patients feel nothing more than a slight sting.
It is possible that some hair will grow back, though it is usually finer and lighter than what was originally removed. There may also be some temporary redness and swelling following the procedure.
