Laser Hair Reduction

Safe, effective hair reduction is now within your reach!

Removing unwanted hair from your face and body is now easier and more comfortable than ever before. No more tweezing, waxing or shaving. Say goodbye to razor burn, painful ingrown hairs and unsightly rashes and bumps from traditional methods of removing unwanted hair.

We at Dr. Greco’s office have several types of lasers available to best treat all hair colors and all skin types. This will be determined at the time of consultation.

All treatments are performed in a relaxed, spa-like atmosphere and you are afforded complete privacy and comfort. Your treatments will be performed by a fully trained and certified aesthetician after the course of treatment has been determined. Your will require several sessions three to six weeks apart to achieve the desired result as hair grows in cycles and the effected hairs are the ones which are actively growing at the time of treatment.

Some frequently asked questions regarding Laser Hair Reduction include:

What does it feel like?
Each pulse, which lasts less than one second, produces a slight tingling feeling.
What are the side effects?
Most patients experience little or no side effects which may include slight reddening of the treated area which should subside within a few hours. It is advisable to avoid any sun exposure after treatment for a few days to protect the skin.

How many treatments will I need?
The laser effects the hairs that are in the active growth stage, the hairs which are in a resting or dormant stage will not be affected and will need to be treated again. This will vary depending on the area and the individual patient.
